Booking and hours

The 904 number, (904) 900-2264, is the quickest way to a Jacksonville booking. After hours, the (877) number, (877) 994-5277, is answered 24/7.

Which days do you install around Jacksonville?

Six days a week, Monday through Saturday, with the first jobs from 8am and the last finishing by 6pm. Sunday is closed for installs, though the online request form stays open.

Is there a number I can call at night?

Yes. Our (877) line, (877) 994-5277, is answered 24/7, so you can call it after hours or on a Sunday and request an appointment.

What helps when I call?

Your VIN, or at least the model year and model, plus the address where the car will sit. A claim goes faster with the insurer's app or ID card in hand.

Can I text you instead of calling?

Yes, send texts and photos to (877) 350-5962. Our Jacksonville line takes calls only.

Where in town we can work

I live in a Jacksonville Beach condo with tight parking. Can you still do it?

Usually. We need a space where both front doors open fully. A garage space or a guest spot out of the wind off the ocean is better than a narrow assigned space.

Do you go out to Amelia Island?

Yes. Fernandina Beach and Yulee are both on our Jacksonville listing. Give us the address and any gate or guard house details.

Can you work downtown on a Jaguars game day?

We would rather not. Streets and lots near the stadium fill up on home game days. Pick another day, or a garage well away from the stadium.

I am stuck on the shoulder of I-95 with a broken windshield. Can you come there?

No, roadside installs are unsafe for everyone. Get the car somewhere off the highway, home or a parking lot, and book the replacement there.

Insurance and paying

Does my insurer get to choose my windshield company?

On a personal auto policy, Florida law (§ 627.7291) says your insurer may not require you to use a particular company for a windshield claim. It can suggest one. The insurance page quotes the statute.

Who deals with the insurance company?

The claim is yours, and we help you file your claim: you start it, we supply the part and price details the adjuster wants. Once the covered work is finished, our invoice goes straight to the insurer.

Is it all right to pay out of pocket?

Of course. Plenty of drivers do, especially for side glass. Request a quote and the number is in front of you before a time is set.

Glass and the warranty

Can a small chip be filled instead?

Not by us. Bang AutoGlass only replaces glass, so a chip that has started to spread is the point to call.

If the new windshield leaks or whistles, what happens?

Call our Jacksonville line and we look at it. Leaks, wind noise and loose trim from our install fall under the lifetime workmanship warranty, for as long as you own the vehicle, along with defects in the glass we installed. A fresh rock hit is new damage, so it is not included.

Will you have glass for my car?

We work on 52 vehicle makes, from everyday sedans to work trucks. The VIN lets us confirm the exact part before the visit.
